"IN A DARKENED ROOM"

I have been photographing since I was 15, and years later in military service to present day civilian.  Back in the day of "film emulsion or negatives",  I found an interest in photography, learned the skills & techniques from my father, (who was an aerial reconaissance photographer in his military days), to include processing film and photo development in the "darkroom".  In doing so, I fluently began spending my time on  weekends, devoting long hours into the wilderness of the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri, with film loaded in my Nikon FM camera.  I had a love for the forest and it's surroundings..only to return and anxiously develop the film, shoot the negative to photo paper through the use of a photo enlarger, agitating it in developer and stop bath, waiting to finally see the results under a special darkroom light...behind locked doors.  Nevertheless,  I miss the times of anticipated painstaking results vs. today's high end digital cameras.  Have to admit however, it has made it relevantly easy, bypassing the consuming time spent in the dark.

My deepest passion with photography are focused on the conservation of our wildlife, culture and their habitats.  I in particular, love photographing the forest, mountains, animals and photographing at night.

I'm a Nevada based resident for over 20yrs.  Prior to those years, I traveled during my military career to countries in Europe and the Mediterranean.  These days, I explore the vast U.S. southwestern region and will travel to northern territories from time to time to capture images for the world to see.  I support the world environment conservation and will work to  share my visions with the public through world wide web and relative media.   I'll shoot other avenues of photography on my spare time for creativity, fun or by request.  I love traveling, camping, hiking, skiing, partying, computers and digital games alike.   All in all, this is our world, our home, respect it in helping to maintain the preservation of our planet's national parks, landmarks, wildlife and environment.  I thank you for your support and effort, and for viewing my site.  I will be adding more photos in all categories as time allows.  Please feel free to leave any questions or comments.  Thank you for visiting...Cheers!
