Oregon's Southern region

The northwestern state of Oregon is camouflaged in green. I visited the southwest region where timber appears limitless no matter which direction I traveled. Douglas fur trees, pine and fern are rich, though Oregon is also known for it's logging and lumber mills. I took the above image with my Canon 1Ds MarkIII at F8 1/500sec.

Oregon southern region has wonderful long and deep trails rich in vegetation with a great abundance of fern, let it be warned however, that removal of these plants for personal posession is illegal. I shot this image on a trail in Brookings with Canon 1Ds MarkIII at F8 1/13sec.

The image above reveals a low dense fog condition hovering over U.S. Coastal Highway 101 along Brookings, a town with a population of just below 7000 citizens. Brookings also resides along the Oregon Coastline of Whaleshead Beach. Canon 1Ds MarkIII F8 at 1/250sec.
